Xiaoyun Wu, M.D.

Xiaoyun has over 22 years of experience in the biotechnology industry. He has founded several companies in antibody production and engineering (ADV Biologics Inc and Amesino LLC). He co-founded Tranzyme Pharma (NASDAQ: TZYM). Prior to joining industry, he served as a Principal Investigator at the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Medicine and co-authored over 20 peer-reviewed papers.

John Wakefield, Ph.D.

Dr. Wakefield has more than 22 years of biotechnology and biopharmaceutical research employment, which includes Director, Gene Delivery & Applied Genomics, Tranzyme Pharma Inc., and Senior Scientist at Thermo Scientific/Open Biosystems. He founded Verified Biosystems LLC, in 2015, which is a contract research company providing expertise in delivery and expression of genetic content and development of cell-based assays.  

Ellen Wu

In 2018, Ellen received her B.S.B.A in healthcare management from Washington University. She published her undergraduate research in a peer-reviewed journal and has been the recipient of several research fellowships, including the Fulbright and the DAAD Research Grant for doctoral candidates and young academics and scientists.
